Cleveland Clinic partnered with Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble in order to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. With help from both organizations, P&G designed and manufactured face shields for front line caregivers. In their first shipment, Cleveland Clinic received 18,000 faceshelds just two weeks after the initial phone calls between the organizations.
Procter & Gamble is the latest company to help in whatever way they can during this time of COVID-19. And Northeast Ohio is benefitting from their generosity.
On Monday, a shipment of 18,000 face shields from P&G arrived at Cleveland Clinic's main campus.
P&G, along with the help of Cleveland Clinic staff, specifically designed the face shields and replacement shields to optimize effectiveness of the shields.
